Dr. Houshang Seradge Biography

Dr. Houshang Seradge finished his orthopedic instruction at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He also acquired training in hip surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital from Dr. William Harris, a well-known surgeon. Dr. Seradge also trained in knee surgery under Dr. William Barrett, the founder of the globally known center for arthroscopic knee surgery in Florida. Dr. Houshang Seradge next entered a fellowship with Dr. Harold E Klienert, the international leader for hand surgery and microsurgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

Dr. Houshang Seradge joined the staff of the Orthopedic Department of Oklahoma University Medical School where he cared for patients and trained doctors and medical students. He was the Director of Orthopedic Surgery at the VA hospital and the Chief of Hand Surgery at both University Hospital and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Houshang Seradge remained as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery for many years while creating a developing private practice in OKC.

Dr. Houshang Seradge is an globally recognized doctor with over 60 publications, including in-state, national, and international health-related journals and textbooks addressing all aspects of orthopedic surgery including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, and foot. Dr. Seradge has given over 150 lectures locally and around the globe. Dr. Houshang Seradge established a worldwide professional medical educational and research program from which he continues to train health professionals from other countries.
